reflecting both recovery and growth despite prevailing challenges<\/p><p><strong>Top Copper Producers: Performance and Challenges<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>BHP Group<\/strong> maintained its position as the top copper producer, increasing output to 516,200 tonnes, up 2.24% year-on-year (YoY), driven by record production at the Escondida mine and the integration of OZ Minerals.<\/li><li><strong>Freeport-McMoRan<\/strong> ranked second with 436,809 tonnes, a decline of 7.14% YoY, primarily due to lower ore grades at Grasberg and higher in-process inventory, although elevated copper prices supported earnings.<\/li><li><strong>Codelco<\/strong> secured third place with 365,000 tonnes, reflecting an 18.12% YoY rebound, supported by successful ramp-ups of structural projects and improved throughput at El Teniente.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Notable Growth<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>MMG<\/strong> recorded a 54.30% increase, producing 140,368 tonnes, driven by near-full-capacity operations at the Khoemacau mine.<\/li><li><strong>Vale <\/strong>achieved a 17.81% rise to 92,600 tonnes, supported by higher ore grades and mine expansions.<\/li><li><strong>Rio Tinto<\/strong> grew by 15.00%, reaching 229,000 tonnes, fueled by the ramp-up at Oyu Tolgoi and improved recoveries at Kennecott.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Significant Declines<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Glencore<\/strong> experienced the largest decrease at -21.04%, due to lower ore grades at Collahuasi and maintenance at Antamina.<\/li><li><strong>Anglo
